THE RT REV DR. SAMUEL SONI

The Rt. Rev. Dr. Samuel Soni is a dedicated Christian leader, theologian, and servant of God who has committed his life to the proclamation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the advancement of Christian ministry. As the Bishop of Punjab State in the Safe India Missionary Diocese (SIM Diocese), he provides spiritual leadership, pastoral oversight, and guidance to churches, clergy, and believers throughout the region.

Holding a Doctorate in Theology, Bishop Samuel Soni is actively involved in biblical teaching, theological education, pastoral care, church planting, leadership development, and community service. His ministry emphasizes Christian unity, discipleship, evangelism, and social transformation through faith in Jesus Christ. In addition to his ecclesiastical responsibilities, Rt. Rev. Dr. Samuel Soni serves as Director of the Evangelical Episcopal Council, working to strengthen Christian fellowship, promote sound doctrine, and encourage cooperation among churches and Christian organizations.

He is also recognized as a Minister of Religion and is duly authorized as a Marriage Registrar by the Government of Punjab under the provisions of the Christian Marriage Act, 1872, Sections 7 and 9. Through this role, he solemnizes and registers Christian marriages in accordance with the law and Christian traditions. Bishop Samuel Soni continues to serve with integrity, dedication, and compassion, seeking to glorify God through preaching, teaching, pastoral ministry, and humanitarian service. His vision is to build strong, Bible-centered churches and empower believers to be faithful witnesses of Jesus Christ in society.
